The purpose of this program is to give students a basic knowledge of Diesel Equipment operating systems.  This includes components, tools, and safety. This program is the main foundation for future learning and is meant to teach students beginner level skills that can be built upon in future education and in the workplace.

Program Length:

Two years

What You Will Learn:

Fundamentals:  Diesel engine teardown, inspection and reassembly, engine adjustments, torque wrench usage, air brakes removal and installation, digital volt ohm meter usage.

Electrical:  Basic electrical theory, hands-on electrical diagnosis, electronic engine adjustments, engine and truck wiring circuits.

Chassis: Transmissions, clutches, suspension, steering and air brakes.  

What You Can Earn:

Student ASE- Brakes, Diesel Engines, Electrical and Electronic Systems, Suspension and Steering, Inspection Maintenance and Minor Repair
